Buick Grand National Twin Scroll EFR Turbo build
Hey guys, I haven't posted on here in a very long time but I wanted to share a project I'm just now finishing. I don't know how many of you guys are familiar with the Borg Warner EFR turbos but in my opinion they are simply the best turbochargers available on the market. I'll let you guys look them up but they are the quickest spooling turbos due to several neat features but the main one being the gamma titanium turbine wheel and shaft. After having a timing chain failure in my buick and having to build the motor, I decided that I had to have this turbo along with the advantages of doing a twin scroll setup. Unfortunately, nothing off the shelf was available so I had to build several custom parts to get it to work. The final result is still to be seen as I have not finished tuning the car or broken in the motor but I will say that the spool up is phenomenal and the car feels as fast now at 10 psi than it was before at 20. Any ways Here are the pictures of the build.
