LS3 swap into 72' Camaro questions

hey everyone i will be installing a LS3 into my 1972 Camaro with a T56 and have a few questions

i am planning on going with a PSI harness and all parts in the kit(ecu, pedal, sensors) also plan on dirty dingo mounts and griffen swap radiator.

headers im still up in air about.

hoping i can get some input on these items from those who have used them or if anything else that have had better experience with?

also if anyone has put one in a early 2nd gen is there anything that i should expect as a problem with fitment issues as far as pullys or ac or pan?

good thing is i already have a lt1 t56 swap in my car so should be able to re use the Gforce crossmember and driveshaft.

      thank you

I'd look into using the Holley mounts pan headers cross member. Avoid the hassle of mixing and matching and go with setup that's designed to work together. There are many setups that will work, but will take a good bit of time researching. Plus with the Holley parts, the driveline angle has already been sorted for you

Decided to go with the holley kit:pan, baffle, mounts, crossmember and hooker longtubes aswell as the PSI kit. Just waiting on parts to get here.. thanks to dale at Schwartz.

There is a few other Lil things I still got to figure out but the main things are out of the way.

However as the 14 camaro used electric power steering I need to figure out a pump to use with my hydratech hydroboost.. any thoughts on this? Can I use a 10-12 camaro pump?

Don't worry about what the 2014 Camaro came with - Steering needs to be car oriented

      Welcome aboard!!

Get a Type II pump that has the -6an and -10anfittings already on it to make the hydroboost install seamless. I got mine from Tuff Stuff.

What accessory brackets are you using? I think that will dictate of you can use the pumps with the AN fitting already there. My holly brackets wouldnt allow the use of these because they are closed on the backside and I could not get the proper fittings. I did by my stock style type II from them.

Which factory brackets are you using? Are you converting your old LT t56 to an LS style by swapping out the input shaft and other parts?

I am indeed going to sell it. Just been focused on getting this swap done. I wouldn't want to ship it though
