If you're looking to add another option to that list, I would recommend our HQ series coilovers. We use a monotube shock built by Fox Racing and coil springs from Hyperco, two of the best manufacturers in the world (both based in the US), and we have a 1,000,001 mile warranty on them! For an eye to eye setup, you're looking at about $650 per pair (coil springs included in the cost). Let me know if you have any questions!

Bilstein makes an economical SN or Aluminum ASN coil-over that uses the same valving as their high-end motorsports shocks.

His wifes Chevelle had QA and after 5 tries to get them right. His Camaro had Viking. BOTH didnt ride well.
Well after his wife rearview mirror dropped of taking chunk with, she said FIX IT.
They dropped big buck and got triple adjustable ridetech. They LOVE THEM.
Both cars had several iterations before they broke down and switched brands. Performance wise the OTHER brands functioned ok, byt daily drivability was pure suckage, as their son said. The Ridetech coilovers cured theride quality issues and still handled as good or better than the others brands.

      They are all good.

Don't believe it just ask the person selling them to you!

Cost, application, use, single, double, triple adjustable, self contained, remote reservoir, vehicle, weight, point is there is NO one best coil over shock.

YOU need the answers to the above questions for your specific vehicle your intended use and then talk to the different vendors to find the BEST coilover shock for your specific application!

Based on price alone, you will not find the "best" coilover. There are far too many variables to consider; if you are concerned about creating the best ride and handling, you may be best off buying something like non-coilover ridetech shocks, then figuring out optimal spring rates and alignment. Completely different rarely results in the way better you might be looking for . . .

Neither one. Best would be JRI or Penske. QA1 are harsh and so far I am not fond of Viking. Personally prefer ridetech or JRI.

I don't mind my viking's in anyway but ridetech makes some nice pieces just more expensive.

Josh why is Ridetechs front suspension performance parts for B body mopars practically non-existent?

is there any data comparing the various shocks? There seems to be a lot of advertising hyperbole, but little in the way of comparison data. At least nothing that I've found doing quick Google searches. I've found several articles on drag shocks and circle track, but nothing for a track/street shock comparison.

With the E&B bodies having the torsion bar front end, it's a lot harder to get the performance and ride quality out of them. We build Shockwaves, upper arms, and the Q series shocks that will bolt into place on the car and all of them do make a very nice improvement. However, if you're looking to take the car out on the autocross or roadcourse and be competitive, the best route is to change out the front end to an independent crossmember.

I've got dyno sheets of our shocks if you'd like to see them.

I switched from Penske to JRI and the JRI's are definitely superior, huge range of adjustment and much better around the "nose" would never go back.

That would be awesome! Can you post them? Maybe even a new thread where we can post dyno sheets from each of the manufacturers for comparison?

This statement alone was a deciding factor for me when I purchased my Ridetechs 2 years ago. Aside from being mad in america and fantastic product support, ridetech like all the high dollar suspension companies (Penske/Moton/JRZ/JRI/Ohlins) will give you shock dyno info, Rebuilding and Specialty valving, Spring rate suggestions. . .

I'm going to be replacing my faulty coilovers with what I feel is the best. I'm deciding between Bilstein JRI Viking and ridetech.

I just wish there was a published source with this information across multiple manufacturers so that I could understand the tradeoffs being made by choosing one manufacturer over another.
