      Pinion Mounted parking brake

Does anybody have any experience with a parking brake similar to this?

I'm running a 9 inch in my Chevelle with C6 z06 brakes, I got the brackets from Kore 3 but I'm trying to find a cheaper parking brake alternative.

I would think that even though the overall diameter is less than 4" ....you wouldn't have enough clearance thru full suspension travel

I'm running a 9" floater with C6 Z06 brakes. I looked at that style PB but I was concerned about ground clearance plus it reminded me of a truck brake. I decided to go with a pair of Viper style PB calipers from IPSCO. I have just been too busy to install them yet.

I haven't put the suspension travel into consideration.

Those are nice, they're not much more than the Kore 3 setup.

      Pinion Mounted parking brake

Revolution Brake also makes mechanical spot calipers.

Good to know. I'll be doing the Speedway floater, and the serious brakes don't have a built in parking brake, and I thought about the pinion mounted brake, which looks like it won't work. That Revolution Brake setup looks very reasonably prices, I'll probably go that route.
