Glad to see you finally got someone to make your parts. Just goes to show how hard it can be to get an item into production. Damn good thing you're doing something on a car that will indefinitely remain a classic, rather than just coming to market with a part for a 2008' something or other replaced by the next model.
From what I've seen around here in Jacksonville, what remaining traditional fiberglass shops we still have aren't a good choice for car parts. One old shop I stopped & talked to about possibly making a mold off my 2016 camaro nose for g-body application said it would be over 2k to do a mold, would be 6 months to a year before he maybe could do it, & didn't care to do it anyways. Not very encouraging to say the least. I'd imagine you had similar results at places you checked into. So I guess a race team is a whole different work environment with a newer generation of people doing the work & would take more pride in making a quality car part. Good call.

While your stuff can be classified a not for everyone items, it would be hard for any car guy with a heartbeat not to get excited seeing a car on the streets with such items.
