Just finished my interior redo(with pics)

Just redid the interior in my 68 camaro. I used TMI molded door panels and dash pad. Since they don't make rear panels for convertibles I hacked up the stock metal panels and welded the 3 pieces together and flush mounted speakers in them and had my upholstery guy cover them to match the fronts. I made the console and had it covered also. Then he covered the seats to match. I used kick panels from Dennis(1976camaroguy).

Very nice. All said and done how much $ do you have into the interior?

I have about 3500 into the upholstery work. I'd say 5-6 grand total. Another thing I did was to add a vintage air heater/defroster so I could get rid of that ugly stock controller. I upgraded to the billet control. I also used the Clayton machine works door handles. They're not cheap but they look sweet.

They fit great as long as you don't plan on using the stock door handles with them. TMI claims they will work but there's no way.

Did you have someone recover the seats for you or did you do them yourself? If you did it, how hard was it and how long did it take you?
