      1965 falcon convertible...............

Hi everyone, I live up in Canada ,Ont have been on the forum for awhile and thought I would post here a few pictures of the car that has been in the family for more than 40 years now, doing a total redo on the car. It's going to have a 4 link rear-end and mustang II front -end, not too many of these car cars around anymore it was built in Oakville Ont back in 1964. My Father bought it at police auction. Back the the motor was not running and the top was ripped, It was my brother's first car in high school, still away too go on it,

Am I correct in understanding that the frame on the jig is for this car?

      1965 Falcon pictures......more

      Hi there wfo guy,
Yes you would be correct , it is. I wanted a jig at a decent height so I could work at it and keep everything level and straight thanks for asking.

      Hi blade,
here are a few pictures as you asked for. The reason I did all this work on the car was that the inner rockers were getting rusty and needed repaired

      More updates.......

      Here a few more updates.
I finished welding the underside of the chassis, then flipped it over and installed the motor and transmission.
Then proceeded to mock-up a firewall to hang the master cylinder an brake pedal, next came the steering colum and wheel. This I made of 2 inch black drain pipe. The steering wheel was made of rebar apx 16 inches to the original size. Then finally the heater core , which I toke out of the original heater box. Made a box in sheet metal and installed it on the fire wall.

      More updates

      Hi everyone,
It's been nice here the last few days. I have been working the brake lines in the front-end to the purporting valve .
Next it's on to the transmission lines. Then after that I'm going on to get the chassis under the car

      Falcon updates......

      Hi everyone ,
I have busy getting the chassis under the car, I had to modify the floor pan to get the chassis close to the floor as possible. I put the rear-end today to see how things Aline.
