      Fast Burn Heads spring seats

Picked up a used set of first gen aluminum Fast Burn Vortec style heads. They use a single valve spring and stamped steel seat/locator. There is a "kit' from GM to use LS3/6 springs that has new beehive seat/locators springs, retainers etc but those spring are just average and have heard quality control for pressures is all over the place. They are what come on new versions and the circle track crate motors that use the Fast burn heads).I would like to use some beehive style either Comp, or Howards. Buying the seat/locators from GM even on line is pretty pricey just for stamped steel(seat 19301707 updated 19303150-$95-100/8! Will regular LS1 versions(12565118) work? Spring fit should be OK. Only about $45! Very outer OD OK for head's pocket and ID OK for valve guide?

      Original seats 10212809.
