Attachments Full - Deleting Pictures Help

I currently reached the maximum available room for uploading pictures on my account. If I delete attachments to make more room will that also remove pictures from my thread that contains that picture? I dont want to remove pictures from my threads, but the site wont let me upload any more pictures to new posts. Anyone know what to do?

Make yourself a Photobucket account or something from a similar website. You get 2GB free from Photobucket, but if you download the app they give you 10GB more free. You can upload the pictures there and then it gives you links that you can paste in your posts and the pictures will show up here. A lot of people use this and it works great.

And I will look to see how large the pictures are that you are uploading.

Can you reduce them to 1024x768 before you upload them? Those are huge files.

I know some of them are huge files because I forgot to re-size some of them before uploading. Theres just a lot of pictures that will have to be re-sized and I dont really want to spend that much time, but I will look into it. Thank you for the response

I just upped the space for everyone from 40 meg to 100 meg.

It would help if everyone could upload 1024 wide max pictures. They will fit the forum and will allow everyone to store many more pictures.

I'm having the same problem, how do I delete off some of my old pic's?

In fact, my folder says 14.86mb used out of 12.5mb available. Should I have 100mb?

Strange, everyone should have 100 meg. I will double check now.
