      Recommended oil for Turbo'd engine......

I've had people say full synthetic, others say no. Some say use 10-40 or 15-40 because the lighter weights break down with extra heat from turbo. Just wondering what kind of views you guys have on this. Almost done with my Turbo 6.0 build and just want to start off right.

I would at least second the vote for synthetic and the weights depend upon use and abuse.
As long as your engine is built for 10w40 synthetic that would be good for street and light abuse then use 15w40/20w50 for hard track days/racing.

We use Mobil 1 15w50 in our turbo and supercharged cars. They're track and autocross cars so they get driven pretty hard.

I used to use standard dead dinosaur 10-40, but changed to Valvoline VR-1 20-50 after a weekend at the MMCC turned the other stuff into the consistency of gasoline. LoL! Not sure about the full synthetic, but I'm very pleased with the VR-1.
