      Ford 8.8 Traction-Lok, 1, 1.5 or 2 way locking?

      Searched the web and came up with nothing.
      What I did learn is that clutch limited slip diffs offer lockup when off throttle one of three ways; none (open), partial and locked which gives 1, 1.5 and 2 way respectively. Is it true that the pinion gears can be cut/machined to offer different lock up when off throttle by changing pressure on the clutch packs. If so, how are the stock Ford Traction-Lok pinion gears machined? They look symmetrical so thinking they are 2 way, locking up on both throttle and off throttle.
