Change is needed! I might be sad to see it go but then again, I can always build another one, bigger and better. Got 3 more cars to sell and then I will start looking into a new project car.

You got it! I managed to blow up the engine in the Jeep I just got and sold one of my Cobalts to my friend. So the Jeep is going up for sale now and that means I just need to get rid of one more car and I will be project shopping again! Ya things happen quickly in my life haha.

Here we are another 2 months later and I still have the Bug. The guy who is going to buy it seemed to drop off the face of the earth. Not the end of the world. Guess I can actually list it up for sale somewhere and see what happens.

Other than that, after 5 months of waiting, I finally got my wheels and tires for my Supra.

Hey guys. This will be one of my last post on the Bug. It has been sold to another forum member. Will be getting shipped out to FL once I finish up a few small things but I can officially say, its officially sold! Hopefully the new owner will start his own thread to show you guys what he has planned. I will be back with another project one of these days but for now I will be enjoying my Supra on the track.

I am honestly considering another Ecotec powered Bug.... Haha. Front engine this time. Got to finish my house remodel before I start any more builds though.

A little late on making this post but better late than never! I am officially Bug free. It got picked up and shipped off to FL with its new owner. Of course it didnt leave in peace.... Went to pull it out of the shop and had no clutch. Did a quick bleed and got it on the trailer. Car made it to its new owners house, no clutch again. The starter also stopped working thanks to something bouncing around causing a fuse to blow. The new owner finally got it to his garage, parked it overnight and it marked it territory with a blown slave cylinder.... I feel terrible for the guy and since I am completely across the US, there is not much I can do to help. Hopefully he gets on here and carries on the build as he has got some cool plans for it! I will still be around watching all the other cool builds go on and possibly when my Jeep build is done, I will be back with another project that fits this forum.

new owner here. everything always ends up an adventure for me, so i was disappointed but not surprised that the bug was fighting back. i had to help the drive push it off the trailer then we couldnt push start it due to no clutch pedal pressure. luckily a random passer-by on a golf cart (yay florida) towed me home. backstory - i live a few houses off the highway on a cul de sac so the truck stopped in the center median to drop the car off a few hundred yards south of my street.



anyway, we got it dragged home and pushed inside.



then the next day i got all the fuses replaced and the motor fired up ready for a test drive and the clutch told me no. but at least i got to push it on some scales.



i already have a new motor coming, plan is a 2.3 or 2.4 non-DI motor so i can use my haltech, a 55-62mm turbo, and adding as much additional lightness as i can fit.
