      LS truck coils

      I just purchased a Holley Dominator ecu, and now I need to pick some coils. I know the Holley, AEM, IGN-1A, etc. coils are the best, But I don't know if I want to spring for them.
      Does anyone here know which GM/Delco truck coils are the hottest ones to use?
      D585= round w/ heat sync
      D514A= round (delco)
      D510C= square (melco/mitsubishi)
      Thanks, Steve

      you want the d585 coils with heat sinks. Search on ls1tech for more info on them.

      The triangle truck coils also work well(581, but the 585's are a bit better i hear for severe duty use.

      I have used the 581's and 585s at 800whp with no issues to date. good spark at 25psi boost.

      These might interest you-the price is right!!!

      I bought these for my project as I needed 12 of them- and here's what I have left over-a few if the pieces might have been used for mock-up at one point or another- But basically new stuff.

      These are not Chinese Knock-off that are now floating - be careful like on eBay...

      Down to one set of 8- GM LS2 LS3 LS4 LS7 Ignition Coils OEM 12573190 Round Style

      $130 shipped/set (conUS)

      $30 shipped/set (conUS)

      I wish I would've seen these a few days ago! I just picked up some used d585's, but with unknown miles/age. I will keep these in mind.
