Anything cool Done with cigarette lighter port

Hey I was wondering if anybody did anything cool with there cigarette light port in 68 camaro... I don't see anything really modern to go into the port! Or is most people just using it to run electronics ?

The rule is measure twice and cut once. My problem is I still measure with a mic and cut with an axe!

Ring brothers has a cool looking "eject button" to fill the space. It's on their site.

I cut out both the lighter and ignition indents and filled in with metal before painting the dash. My switch is on the column and I have a clean balanced dash with left and right of the heater controls being clean.

I bought one of these. Easily fits in that location. I cut the guts from the holder and fits pretty snug.

After getting the DSE wiper kit, it was bugging me not having matching bezels and knobs. So I ordered a few extra knobs and bezels from them and modified to fit. It was a pain to modify the bezels but eventually I got it to work.

Before I completely rebuilt everything, I had my cigarette lighter rigged as a starter button. Cut everything up and had it set up to push on the lighter head to start the car. It was pretty cool but long gone now.
