I had all the trim pieces to paint still. I made the mistake of not painting them all at once.

Got them sprayed and they came out perfect for using a work closet and being painted almost 2 years after the car.

Got the new fuel pump in. Runs, but pump starts whining and loosing pressure after 20 mins..........

dont know whats going on. Think it may not have big enough wire to the pump, or external pumps really are ****ty......

Is it a tri stage? If so, was any part of it particularly difficult?

Gorgeous color, Initially I wanted Cadillac Opulent Blue (CTS-V color), then more like Luxo Blue from the Buick Verano, now I'm not sure what I want. lol

Rewired the pump with a secondary relay and 10ga wire powering the pump, with only a few feet from the battery.....

Untitled by Ryan Hurley, on Flickr

Pump sounds better and isnt losing pressure...... the Stanalone harness only had a 14ga wire that ran the entire length of the car.... maybe i was losing voltage.

To try and avoid slosh, i packed the cell full of ATL foam. Not my first choice, but i am minutes away from scrapping this entire tank..... PIECE OF JUNK

Come to find out, the return line is splashing fuel all over and making the fuel foam up.......... again, this tank is garbage. Rhodes race cars can suck it.

So for the track this weekend, i improvised and made a return with dip tube to get under the fuel level.
