      1985 Cutlass Pro-touring project for sale


      Features include:
      *1.75” .090 wall Chassis stiffening system eliminates flex.
      *9” Ford rear housing modified for G-Body points, shock points relocated and sway bar points added.
      *Hotchkis rear suspension system includes adjustable upper trailing arms, lowers, extreme 1.25” sway bar and 1”lowering springs.
      *Custom built front suspension includes 1 off lower control arms made from .090 4130 chromemoly sheet metal. 1” lowering springs. Upper control arm mounts relocated inward to slow down camber gain. Upper arms not finished but I have all of the parts to build them. C6 Corvette steering knuckles. Flaming River rack and pinion system mounted to the front sway bar tube. 1 3/8” NASCAR style front sway bar and arms.
      *Chassis built to accept LS3 power plant with engine moved back 1.5” from stock location mated to a Tremic 5 speed transmission with a custom built crossmember tied in to the chassis stiffening system. Car does not come with engine or transmission.
      *Baer brake system with 6 piston calipers all 4 corners, 15” rotors with aluminum hats.
      *Body is a T-Top car that has been acid dipped to remove any rust, all panels are 100% rust free through out the car. Body has a 442/Hurst body trim package that includes front and rear spoilers. The hood has a fabricated steel cowl. The firewall has been modified, moved back, smoothed and fit with vintage air system. The interior is lined with Dynomat and fit with racing seats from Summit. Shoulder harnesses anchor to custom built bars that allow you to still use the backseat. The dash is custom made from aluminum to be upholstered, inspired by the Aston Martin DB9. There is a 16 gallon Jazz fuel cell in a steel can integrated in to the trunk floor and held in by a carbon fiber lid. The fuel filler has been relocated to the left quarter panel. The battery has been moved to the spare tire well and fitted with a billet base for an optima battery and has a lid that matches the fuel cell. The rear bumper also has a hidden built in weight ballast box.
      Extra parts include all new glass, weather stripping, painless wiring kit, Momo steering wheel and a 380 ratio 3rd member.
      This car has been built to the highest quality with thousands of labor hours and many cool features. If you’re looking for a great Pro Touring car that needs to be finished and driven here it is. You could be autocrossing it by next spring. Unfortunately due to life changes and no space to keep it I need sell.
