Driver side Door and Quarter Panel

First fit of the new door.

      Upper hinge good…

      Lower Hinge bad...replace!

Starting on outer wheel wells. Also found out that the inner structure of the car is in great shape...

Good shot of the new cable tray / pipe in the rockers, have to fit the brake cooling in there somewhere too...

New door and quarter together for first gap checks...

And last but not least a Part 3 to the Mini Tubbin PCTV youtube video...

      More to come!

      It's been a while

Well it's been a long time.

Not huge updates but updates never the less.

Jeff has continued on the brake ducts, started fitting the transmission. The tranmission will not be exactly accurate yet, Jeff is using a LS block with LS mount in the AME frame. The final engine will be the LT4 with LT mounts (or adapters) so he isn't 100% sure on the location of the transmission but it will be close.
Check out the videos and Pic below, enjoy!

Great seeing how you made room for the t56. You cut much less then most do. I'll be doing this at some point.

Make sure your drive angle is right. In my Camaro my 4l85 is barely able to get what I need. I know yours is a t56.

Thanks for the heads up Motown_454, we have the new engine coming so once we know where it will sit for sure we can hopefully start measuring angles

      Dash Mods

Time to start work on the Dash, I've never been a fan of the stepped dash in these cars so Jeff is cutting that all out and giving it a more modern look:

Previous owner liked wood...They even made a glove box out of wood and tape haha:

Jeff made a jig to told the dash in place:

Got some news from Allison Customs the other day. Ron Francis wiring asked if they could use my car in their booth for SEMA 2018! Pretty awesome news and wanted to thank Scott Bowers @ Ron Francis wiring for becoming part of this build. It's a big honour for us to even be considered to go to SEMA. More updates on that to come, we are still a long ways away from the show!
