Seeking Experienced Sheet Metal / Fabricator In Southern Illinois V8 Speed & Resto

The V8 Speed & Resto Shop is seeking a full-time fabricator and sheet metal technician to join our team and work on award-winning cars.

Tasks include:

• Removing and installing replacement body panels on classic American Muscle Cars
• Creating and installing patch or repair panels for rust or crash damage repairs
• Repairing, restoring, and modifying chassis components
  
  • Suspension components
  • Transmission crossmembers
  
  
• Creating custom parts for modified Muscle Cars, such as:
  
  • Brackets
  • Exhaust
  • Intakes
  • Close-out panels
  • Consoles
  • Dash Parts
  • Mounts
  • Hoods
  • Wheel tubs
  
  
• Fitting body panels and setting panel gaps before bodywork

MIG Welding skills required, TIG a plus
Must have hand tools, shop equipment, sheet metal brakes, punches, welders, shear, plasma cutter, etc., provided
