      1969 Camaro for sale

1969 Chevy Camaro SS (real SS) -
      SOLD
Located in Thousand Oaks, CA (near Malibu, CA)

This car has been a very recently restored. The speedometer shows less than 2000miles since the restoration. There have been countless hours and about $60K invested into making this car what it is. This is a Pro Touring build so the car has the brakes and handling of a modern car along with a very strong engine. This is not a numbers matching car. I am selling this car because I have had fun with it and would like to start a new project. It has been a blast to drive and keep but it is time to move on. I do not need to sell and have no problem keeping the car longer and watching it appreciate in price. I just received the "new" black California plates for the car. I have the pink slip for the car and tags are up to date. This is a no rust and very straight car. This is a driver but you could show this car and win. I am sure there are items that I am forgetting but here is the run down.

      The details:

Bodywork/Paint: House of Colors paint. It is a Dark Grey with ghost hockey stipes. The paint also has a metallic flake look to it that makes it look spectacular in the sun. One of the best paint jobs that I have seen that is not an original color but still keeping with a classic style. The body has been massaged in different areas including removal of the radio antenna and rear turning markers. This makes the car very clean looking and gives it a more modern feel. All of the chrome has been replaced and is in excellent condition. The rear of the car has been mini tubbed so that you can fit larger tires in the back.

Engine/transmission: This is a beast! It is straight out of the GM performance catalog it is a ZZ383 crate engine. It is topped off with a Holley 750cfm carburetor. The engine puts out 450hp/450tq (according to gm) it is very strong and reliable (starts up right away every time). Long tube headers with an h pipe back to mufflers that dump before the rear-end. Everything is new in the engine compartment including all the hoses and fittings, radiator, brackets (billet), wiring, all the bolts. optima red top battery. The transmission is a Th400 3 speed was built up and can handle the new power from the crate engine. Moser rear end with 3.55 gears.

Suspension: Hotchkis suspension, Flaming River steering rack. No rubbing issues with tires and suspension.

Wheels/Brakes: Wilwood brakes in the front and back, slotted and drilled rotors all around. Chrome brake booster. American Racing torque wheels with color matching painted spokes and chrome lipped. Tires: (new) front 235/45/17 and rear 295/45/18.

Interior: With custom matching front and rear seats. Custom steering wheel and chrome steering column. Center console with gauge pack. Dash and all gauges work. The trunk has been custom fitted with etched Plexiglas with the chevy bowtie that lights up with a switch. There is also sound deadening material throughout the car. There is a pioneer stereo head unit with Bluetooth for hands free phone calls and you can play your music through the unit wirelessly. All of this and more of the latest features hidden in the glovebox for that 1969 look and feel. Along with that head unit there are Kenwood speakers and a subwoofer in the back. The stereo rocks! The carpeting and mats are all new.

Miscellaneous: Headlights are Halogen H4 with upgraded relays so you can actually see at night. Detroit speed wiper motor.

******I also have a brand new tremec tko 600 that I was planning on putting in the car that I will sell with the car if you are interested in converting this to a manual 5 speed car.**************

i can ship the car that is not a problem. let me know if you want videos or anything else that would make you feel comfortable with your purchase. Plus you want to buy a dry weather car (ie no rust) anyways so getting something from AZ or CA is a good idea.
