      OUSCI Charlotte Vids / Recap

This was my first optima event.
These are run very good, they know what is going on.

I live about 65 miles away, and we drove back and forth Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 400ish miles back and forth.

I did 4 passes on the speedstop, 8 autocross laps, and made at least 15 laps around the big track.
I could have made several more runs in all events.
GTV class had 25 cars. I finished 13 in the Autocross, 15 in the speedstop and 19 in the Hot Laps.

It was my first time as well and loved it. I made alot of new friends and the racing was great. Charlotte Motor Speedway is a fun track with plenty of speed and a technical infiled. I can't wait for next year.Name: 11796296_10155912668620078_5930149901641802273_n.jpg

I had expected to see you there. You would have been able to let that stroker roll on the backstretch!!

Had a lot of little issues with the car and havent done many events. I barely finished motor/subframe swap before cruisin the smokies. Never even aligned it- was almost 1/2" toe-in and only about 3/8 neg camber. Just changed the intake & camshaft this past weekend. Had an intake leak I couldnt fix & reduced the overlap on the cam so it wont take so many tuning sessions on the driveability. My tuner is the only one in town & have to wait weeks/months in between sessions. Charlotte is a good 10-11 hour drive, and until everything is right I just wasnt motivated. Hoping to get the car re-tuned next week and get back in the drivers seat. Hope to see you soon Randy.
