Would it fit 68 firebird? Maybe a dumb question but why does it have two fuel pumps???

You would have to change the fuel outlet like my 67 Camaro, but you would relocate the outlet to behind the license plates. I did this primary for fuel odors in the trunk. Dual fuel pumps is for a 700 to 900+ hp supercharged engine.

Sorry to intrude, but that looks like a full width tank with clipped corners. True minitub tanks are narrowed due to the relocated leaf springs. Minitubs with a quadralink do not require the narrowed minitub tank, they can use a full width tank.

My 67 Camaro has mini tubs and
Quadra-link. Although, your statement above won't apply to my new rick's tank.
