      1970 Chevelle SS 396 Project.

I have a real 1970 SS Chevelle. It is a 396/360HP, Turbo 400 car. I purchased the car out of the Baltimore area and had it shipped up to my buddies house in Oxford, CT so, he could begin some of the restoration on it. I have the matching numbers block and 12 bolt rear end. Car was originally cranberry red/black stripes/ivory interior. Factory cowl induction/air conditioning car. Cowl tag decodes as Cranberry Red/Ivory Bucket seat interior. Factory tilt. Sold new at Aero Chevrolet in Virginia. Baltimore built car. I have a photo copy of the original build sheet. Previous owner cannot locate the original. Still may be one somewhere in the seats. Car is completely apart for restoration that was begun. Body is rock solid. This was a nice car before the restoration was started.

-Frame is stripped off the car, zinc coated and powder coated satin black, ready for assembly
-12 bolt housing is stripped and powder coated as well
      -Engine is stripped down
-Interior is mostly all there but, removed. Missing the console. Buckets and factory tach dash are nice.

If you are interested in a highly desirable car when finished, this is it. Numbers matching 70 SS with arguably the most desirable color combo. It is at the point now where you can continue a concourse original restoration or turn it into a resto mod while saving the matching numbers block on an engine stand.

$17,500 OBO or possible trade up or down.
Located in Oxford, CT. In person inspections welcome.
