Stolen 66 chevelle sherman oaks california

I am posting this for a good friend who just had his beloved all original 1966 Chevelle stolen. He has owned the car since 1979 and it has been his daily driver since. The car was in top shape with the original 283 recently rebuilt and the exterior paint recently cut/buffed. VERY nice and clean California car. Theft occurred Wednesday/Thurs 6/24 or 6/25 - from 91411 (Sherman Oaks California)If you know or see anything please pm me with information. Local authorities are already involved. Thanks PT community.

Thanks brotha, much appreciated. What a shame to lose such a beautiful original car. He's pretty upset about the loss. I know it's a long shot posting here but figured it's worth trying.

Was it parked on the street or did they take it from a garage?

If nobody's looking, it'll never be found. Right?

I noticed the HEI distributor. Did they (GM) used HEI's in 1966? Just curious.

No, HEI's came around in the early 70's, around 72 I think.

And regarding the car, that sucks. It looked like a great original. Nothing lower than thieves. That's the only instance where I can agree with Sharia Law... steal my car, lose your hand.

They should put Stolen Car alerts on Beer Cans - you need to get to your Audience!

Thank you everyone for your help...The hunt continues as there have been no leads on this so far. I agree with BMR, we need "missing classic car" images on beer cans across the U.S. :-)
