      1991 Camaro RS

      1991 Camaro RS

      350 TBI with Auto trans

      $3000

The car runs and looks good. It was pretty bad when I got it but I did a lot of work to make it look nice. I used to work at a body and detail shop so I have some experience. I painted the window trim, door handles, key locks, and t-top frames all matching black trim paint. The rear trunk sunshade was faded purple so it has been dyed black to look good. Full interior detail (stain lifter on carpet and interior panels cleaned). Buffed out the exterior paint to remove a lot of flaws and imperfections. Degreased the engine bay and painted some engine parts...engine bay looks great! Previous owner recently installed a 350 engine. The t-top 3rd generation Camaro's never came with 350's so this is a plus. I just installed a new headlight panel and Sylvanie Silverstar headlights. New battery converted to a more reliable top post setup. 164k on the body but less on the engine.

I'll get better pictures up but this is what I have for now.

I'd be interested in trading this car for a BMR suspension setup or full hotchkis tvs for my '79 Pontiac Trans Am.

Your information on t-tops and 350's isn't quite correct. There were vehicles with 350's and t-tops produced by the factory every year t-tops and 350's' were available. There are plenty of original owners on www.thirdgen.org with t-top 350 cars.

They never built a 350 TBI though. The 350 used in 1991 would have had a TPI intake on it. Lots of people have done the 350 TBI swap though using the TBI unit and chip from a truck to get the tune correct.

Yes, sorry for the false information. It does have a computer and tbi system from a truck. The original engine was a 305 but it now has a 350.

Still for sale. Buyer fell through on an ebay auction. Would be interested in a running 79-81 Camaro/Firebird, BMR torque arm/coil over setup or full Hotchkis TVS for a late 2nd gen f body.

Bump for you, Good luck with the sale, I drove a 91 RS 305 from 32,000 to 65,000 miles. Great driving cars. Had an 89 GTA as well the 350 makes a big difference.

Again, still for sale. I get calls everyday from people on my local craigslist but no one shows up to buy it....crazy at this point.

As mentioned before, I would be interested in trading for a BMR Suspesnion torque arm kit for my '79 Trans Am (Part # TAS009).
