I've heard some bad stories about cracking and other quality issues.

I have read about the cracking issues too but I haven't had issues and I have 4 or 5 friends with their wheels and they have had good luck as well. Maybe we are just lucky or its a specific model of wheel that none of us own.

The backspacing is like 6.5" and the wheels will not fit a stock setup. From my experience, a 9" or "maybe" a 9.5" wide wheel will fit a stock setup with 275's.

I'll be needing wheels next year,so I've been shopping a bit.
I my opinion,I can't find anything that looks decent for less than $600~700.

FWIW Billet specialties are 100% american made and custom ordered in 1/8" backspace increments. I got my 18" Mag G's for under 400/wheel through Newstalgia wheel

I'm pretty sure Billet Specialties, Budnik, Intro etc all have wheels in the range you are looking for especially when certain vendors have discounts or sales.

Budnik and Billet are reasonably priced, but once you go up to 17s or 18s you're looking at almost 600 a piece and then another 100 a wheel for custom coatings.

Anything in a size that looks good unfortunately seems to cost a small fortune. I send you a PM with pricing fir those RSV Forged wheels. EXtremely high quality. And I'll get you that deal on them.

I just ran across these for $1,900 a set, they could work if you are narrowing axles etc.

Not to hijack the thread but I have no idea what I can fit on the 67c10 SWB Fleetside. 2.5" Cpp (updated) spindles with 3" springs with 5" drop rear springs total 5.5, 5 drop. Factory rear-end housing.

I talked to Forgestar, yesterday, about their CF5 and F10D wheels, in a 9" front and 11" rear. Pricing ranged from $1,600 to $1,800, per set. That's pretty reasonable, if you like their style of wheel.
