jlwdvm-the camaro and firebird brackets are different.
as far as the color goes i really have no idea at this point except i think im going with something dark to keep the sinister theme going. all the bumpers and trim will be blacked out.1969 Camaro under construction.

Its been a while since i have updated this thread, Been pretty busy on the car. re did some things. i wasnt happy with my firewall so i did some work there and repainted it. i added the A-pillar extensions since my drip rails are smoothed. i did heads,cam,intake too. I think the most noticeable mod i did was modify the hood and build a new front bumper to eliminate the pointy front end. ive always liked the general look of the firebird but wasnt crazy about the point. The front bumper is made of formed and trimmed pieces of sheet metal. The bumper is tacked on the car right now for build purposes bt will be removable once done. I also had to extend the fenders and reshape them to work with the bumper flow to the fenders. I am trying to get all the body work done up front so i can lay some color on this thing and drive it. I should be painting it within a month or so.
