jlwdvm-the camaro and firebird brackets are different.

as far as the color goes i really have no idea at this point except i think im going with something dark to keep the sinister theme going. all the bumpers and trim will be blacked out.

Its been a while since i have updated this thread, Been pretty busy on the car. re did some things. i wasnt happy with my firewall so i did some work there and repainted it. i added the A-pillar extensions since my drip rails are smoothed. i did heads, cam, intake too. I think the most noticeable mod i did was modify the hood and build a new front bumper to eliminate the pointy front end. ive always liked the general look of the firebird but wasnt crazy about the point. The front bumper is made of formed and trimmed pieces of sheet metal. The bumper is tacked on the car right now for build purposes bt will be removable once done. I also had to extend the fenders and reshape them to work with the bumper flow to the fenders. I am trying to get all the body work done up front so i can lay some color on this thing and drive it. I should be painting it within a month or so.

Not the front end idea you are looking for, but I think it would look pretty good to weld up any holes in the rear, and just have the body as 'the bumper'

I see a new Challenger light in the floor, was that a thought? Ive got a pair of them and tried to find a way that they wouldn't look out of place. I finally decided it was too far off from what I was trying to accomplish. they sure look good in a Challenger though.

Yeah I tried the challenger lights but thought it took too much away from the original look of the car. I wanted to tweak the front end but not change it too much from the original idea.

I like your front bumper and fender mods. If I wasn't getting tired of not driving my '69, I would consider changing the front bumper to a 67-68. Some of the Trans Am racers of the era had those bumpers on their '69s for some reason.
