      Road Race Wheel Brands?

I am going to be building a 63 falcon race car for road racing and am looking into wheel brands. I need a quality racing wheel like a forgeline but at a lower price. I know they wont be $300 per wheel but id like to find a good racing wheel close to forgelines. I cant seem to remember but there was a brand similar around the $6-800 per wheel range in a 18" that are similar to forgelines. Anyone have wheel brand suggestions?

Formula 43. If you get them at their sales, it will bring the price down to $800 per wheel.

I like Forgestars but I don't put them in the same class as the rest of these wheels.

We will see how they hold up to Stielow on the Jackass reboot.

I have a set for my 65. I ran them for two years on the latemodel, autox, track, chicago roads, without issue. I just don't feel they are in the same class at this point. Early on there were some failures that could have catastrophic, I haven't seen or heard of any lately.

Interesting Donny I was just at a shop that does the finish work for Forgestar on some of their wheels. They are very nice looking but the lip of the wheel is definitely thinner than other wheels. Fine if you never hit a curb, or never need even a minor edge repair done, but not thick enough for this shop to repair easily, that's for sure.
