      4L80E, what's it worth?

      I have a 4L80E out of a 2000 Silverado 2500 6.0, unknown miles. I traded the transfer case to a local tranny shop for a REBUILD and to switch it FROM 4WD TO 2WD. Just curious what I should be asking for it, seems like used ones are $500ish and nicely painted rebuilds are over $1000.

      I'm hoping someone who has recently bought a similar item could help me out, or anyone who has seen them for sale!
