78 trans am hi flow cats, cutouts, x pipe, hemi super turbos under axle

Here is the first exhaust I've built. 2.5 inch mandrel bent with electric cutouts, x pipe, 20 inch case hemi super turbos.
i wen under axle because of the 20 inch case wouldn't fit with out cutting he passenger floorboard. I Also have air suspension fully extended should have almost 6 inches of clearance and fully compressed 1.75 inches of clearance

Is this at ride height, or fully extended?

There's nothing holding the rear axle up, looks like full droop to me!

I don't think 1.75"will be enough because the mufflers are not directly under the axle. They'll probably hit even the shortest of speed bumps and driveway lips before the rear tire gets to the bump to raise the car.

You are correct only thing holding the axle up is the shocks

Yeah I'll just haven't to add some air around speedbumps and driveways

That's what I thought. You put that car on the ground and the rear end comes up to ride height... will those mufflers be hanging totally below the diff?

On a air suspension car I would recommend it
On a leaf spring car you would be scraping allot

Those mufflers are unique in that they are very quiet while still having great air flow. And they are affordable. For a powerful cruiser and keeping neighbors happy, they are awesome. Many Buick GS guys run them (the GS Club's motto is "Going Fast With Class".

I had flowmater 40s and 50s on be for but hated the drone. On this rebuild I wanted the best of both worlds. Quiet while puttering around town with the super turbos. Flip the cutouts open and get som attention.
