      flush mounting my glass

hello all I am going to flush mount my glass on my 79 trans am. is the front just a matter of just lifting up. the rear looks a bit harder does any one have any tips. I want to try and do it with out rubber trim by just having a 1/4" gap all round with a nice smooth mastic finish . cheers kev

I did this on my vette. It was a bit of an effort. Look in the folder 65 Vette build and then the sub folder September 2012 and you will see the front and rear being done. Your are correct that the front is easier, but it is more than just raising the glass. The rear was very involved and required the frame to be cut out, sectioned and then reinstalled.
