Got the frame down and got the rear suspension and gas tank assembled, I am really happy how it is looking so far :metal:

Should have the front installed pretty soon, and will then start fitting panels and doing rust repair. Will measure for wheels when I have the body on and get them ordered as well. Should start moving faster now

Awesome work man, love the way the chassis turned out. One of these c10 is on my to do list as well, amazing trucks when done right.

Not playing around on the build man! I bet it will handle..maybe even a little tail-happy with all that bracing :-)

Haha thanks, we really had no idea if there was a right or wrong way to approach the bracing. We had an idea of where the majority of the flex was in these frames and used the 'triangles are strong' mentality and this is what we ended up with. Tail happy sounds fun!

Should be ok, plus there is a little adjustability in those 4-links, so I doubt it should get too wild!

Got the engine and trans in and rolled it outside to clean up the garage a bit

Got the cab and doors losely fitted, the trans didnt clear the factory tunnel so I had to cut it out. I have a high hump tunnel on the way that should work just right. I also have plenty of room between the engine and firewall so I am going to find some mounts that will let me slide the engine back an inch or so.

Disregard the ugly cuts, I just roughly cut it out until the new cover comes in. Then I will clean it up

Starting to look like a truck now! Next on the list is to get the front sheetmetal blasted and primed where i can get all the gaps set and measure for wheels.

Hey guys, I have been off of the truck for a while doing a few other things. Over the past few weeks I have been working around the house some, took a trip to New England to visit my wife's family, and have been playing with my new daily some (Fiesta ST).

I have collected a few parts and plan to get back on the horse after this weekend and get some stuff done. I have an auto steering column and linkage to set up, some front end sheet metal, totally stainless bolt kit, and best of all WHEELS. I ordered Eagle 225 in 20x10 for all four corners. Its going to be tight but I measured over and over again and they should work out fine. Im hoping they will be here in a few weeks. Keep an eye out for more frequent updates in the coming months! Here is a pic of the wheel I went with for those that arent familiar.

Nothing really interesting to share, I went to a show this weekend and picked up a bed kit from Southern Kentucky Classics. Managed to get it assembled with the help of my dad. All things considered it went together pretty well. A few holes massaged here and there but nothing major. I got the one without stake holes so it will be nice not having to fill those. Also picked up some front fenders so next up will be aligning doors and getting the fenders and hood fitted. Still waiting on wheels, hope to see them in the coming weeks.

Sorry for the crappy quality pics. Passenger door and fender are fitted, looks like a truck now

Pic of how bad the door to fender fitment was initially, not sure if it was the difference in manufacturers or what.

Thanks sir! Hoping I can afford some of those beautiful carbon peices when I get closed to being finished. I work in carbon fiber and want to incorporate atleast one raw carbon piece somewhere.
