Following this template? Gotta admit, it is kinda tempting.

yeah buddy, i decided that if I'm gonna spend $3000 to get a ls3 top end on my 6.0, i might as well build a turbo kit for my 5.3 that i can practice with, tweak, and then slow build my lq4 and use the same turbo kit and just crank up the boost and add more fuel for the 6.0. Thats the plan anyways. We will see how it comes together.

I think you are good on everything but the injector size. go up to 60lb injectors. It will ROCK!!

As far as injectors it will be a case of different strokes for different folks. I use Siemens. Good drivability and idle characteristics.

If i am putting an ls6 cam and springs on my 5.3, should i run the ls6 shorter pushrods too or will the stockers fromt he 5.3 work?

You might want even bigger injecters, seen lots of people running 80 lb injecters with a smaller turbo. I guess it all depends on how much boost you plan on running. I'd rather have injecters a little to big then a little to small also.

I think if I don't run the 42# injectors I will probably run a 60# set. Should be enough for 600hp which is more than I will run with this turbo and transmission.

On3 now has a 78/75 for a whole $75 more than the 76/65. One swap I've read found no change in spool from 76 to 78, but that much nicer turbine should definitely help backpressure vs. the 76.

      I bought an On3 76mm .96AR turbo tonight!!! I guess i'm committed.

What diameter piping should I have for the crossover pipe? I was planning on matching the diameter of the exhaust manifolds to the merge, then at that point matching the diameter of the turbo.

Same question from turbo to innercooler? 3" ok? 2.5? and inner cooler to TB? same size as turbo to innercooler?

Should I run 3" or 4" for the downpipe?

Basically, what my question is, should i just match all the sizes of all the different pieces i already have, manifolds, innercooler, turbo housing, ect?

      Thanks for your input.

Id run the largest diameter down pipe as you can fit. Be careful with that turbo, the eBay turbos can sometimes fail for no reason. . . introducing metal into your motor and destroying everything.
