      I need lifters!!!

I need to buy a set of roller lifters for my Pontiac 400 build.
I can not decide on Comp or Lunati. There is a pretty good price difference between the two.
Is one really better then the other?
      Can anyone give their experience/thoughts?

      Thanks!

i've had Lunati solid rollers break on me under normal street driving conditions, the bridge snapped and the lifter rotated in the bore, all kinds of bad happened after that. i'll never use lunati lifters again.

You nee some with positive oiling. Comp's Enure-X or Crower. Isky and Crower have some without needle bearing to fail with bushings but they are pricey. Had Comps in two motors one before they had the oiling feature.

Correct- no one makes a forced oiling for regular blocks. LPI (Luhn Performance) has a tall one though for the KRE or IA blocks.

Lots of guys have had issues with HR lifters in Pontiacs. The Comp 857S are their newest version that seem to have less issues.
