      auto overdrive tranny in DFW

Hey guys, I'm looking at anyone in the DFW area that could possibly have any experience in a 700r4 or possibly a 2004r. I'm building a '68 Camaro with ridetech suspension and disc brake upgrade. Now at this time I don't have the funds to go with an ls engine and a manual tranny, but will be installing the small block chevy and would like to install an overdrive tranny instead of the th350. Any of you guys here in the dfw area know of anyone that can build me one that can handle a bit of hp? hopefully not too expensive? Would like to keep the business local before I start looking online for any options. Thanks. My name is Angel and live in Forney

Greg and Scotty out at phoenix have always done me right.

Jake is a great guy too.

By your pix you are a hands on guy. Why not assemble your own?
Hit the local yards and look for a mid eighties rwd Cadillac. You will need a trans with the code AA. This is a 2004r and will fit where your th350 was and you can use the existing driveshaft. Also get the tv cable and carb brakets from the same car and get the yard to include it in the trans price if you can because you will need it.

I put one together. Not especially hard but there are a LOT of piece inside the case so you need a clean decent size work area. Let me know if you want some pointers.
Texas is the only state that could become its own country.
