      disc and caliper help please

hello all. since I have done away with leaf spring and fitted bmr torque arm kit on my 79 trans am and no longer have staggered shocks. can I bring the drivers side caliper in line with the passenger side to save me from bashing the inner wheel well in due to the larger disc and caliper. cheers kev

Pretty sure the calipers were that way to avoid the stagger shocks on the second gens. Shouldn't be an issue.

Factory 79-81 discs had the drivers caliper forward and passenger rear to be around the staggered shocks. Why they had different ratchet mechanisms for the E brake.
