We ARE GOOOO!!!! I got confirmation today that I should have FAA approval on Monday. The insurance has been approved so I just need to get it paid. If you are coming to participate, please go ahead and get registered as soon as possible so I can get an accurate count.

We are going to get a LOT of runs so it will be a full day! Also, the weather forecast is looking good. Extended forecast is showing upper 60's low 70's, partly cloudy to cloudy so it should be a very pleasant and dry day. If you are planning to watch, I need to know. Space is going to be very limited. If you are not a participant, you need to bring a $10 or higher value toy for the toy drive to get in or I'm gonna send you to Fred's or Wal-mart to buy one. Remember this is to benefit the less fortunate kids of Jefferson County to be distributed by the North Jefferson Ministerial Association. The toy you buy could be the ONLY Christmas gift these kids get so don't be stingy!

Looking forward to a great event!

Still kinda up in the air. The wife is wanting to go to pigeon forge. But if I can persuade her to go the next weekend I will be coming to help and be bringing a friend who is going to autocross.
      fingers crossed!

The event was a resounding success! We had a great turnout - last count was 26 cars! Not bad for a first time event! We also raised over $700 for the local toy drive!!!

      Geoff,
Our car club has been wanting to put on an autocross in the Charleston SC area and have considered airports. Could you please post the methods (and difficulties) to get it setup?
