Brembo GT 6 piston fr / 4 piston rr monoblock brake kit FS

A little over a year ago I bought this kit from forum member Frank 4musclemachines:

      http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/...locks-f-s.html

The kit has been stored indoors, never installed and in the exact same condition as received and in the ad. I was told the kit had 500 miles on it, and it looks to be correct. It was a 1/2 price smokin' deal, but I'm going a different route.

      Asking $4000 plus shipping.

Feel free to PM, email at [email protected] or dial eight one eight - 425 - twentyfive 74.

I'm well verified here and on Lateral-G.

      Thanks for looking

You can use these on the front if you go with the AFX spindle. Look at Kore3 for brackets that can adapt these for the rear.

Ron is correct in his description except that all of the rotors are new, so it's even a better deal at that price.

Andrew thanks for looking out! Not sure, but doesn't Tobin make a bracket to mount c6 style brakes to early GM spindles?

That can be true as well, I just don't know...GLWS...

Do you know what the actual piston area is on these calipers?

^ Thanks Andrew. I'll have to verify and get back to you on sizing. They have the pads I installed, so I'd need to pull them. They're made for a Z06, so I'd imagine similar.

Spoke to Tobin today. Here's the good news:

Since the GT kits are designed to fit a C6 corvette (base, Z51, Z06, etc), they should be compatible with any C5 or C6 application since the mounting points are the same. Hose fittings vary from M10x1 bubble on the C5 to M10x1 inverted flare on the C6, but otherwise they're virtually the same with respect to their mounting requirements.

So with that said, if you'd like to put these brakes on your muscle car application, it should just be a matter of making your car look like a C5/C6 Corvette with respect to the brake mounting points, which is precisely what we do. We offer C5/C6 conversion brackets for a variety of applications front and rear, with or without parking brakes, not all of which are listed on our website, so please feel free to contact us directly with any questions that you may have for your specific application.

      GLWTS Ron!
