1973 DeTomaso Pantera with Ford 5.4L Modular Engine

I'm working with a customer in California that happens to be installing a 5.4L SOHC Modular Engine into a 1973 Pantera. So as you can imagine, this is not your average run of the mill swap. I won't get into all the details at this time, but I would like to note some highlights, and give you guys/gals a few pictures.

      1973 DeTomaso Pantera
      5.4L modular SOHC
      Magnuson 5th Generation Magnacharger (Ported/Polished)
      Accufab Racing 1900cfm throttle body
      Garrett Intercooler (under the blower)
      Peterson Dry Sump Oiling system
      Pantera 5 speed Transmission
      Brembo Brakes
      Holley Dominator EFI

That engine sure has a huge by wide footprint...Nice project though. I have always loved the Panteras.

I would love to own it, but that's not an option at this point in life. Maybe one day. I can't wait til we start tuning this thing. It should be really fun to drive.

I can't wait either. I hope to hear something from the owner this week.
