      head/ header alignment

BBC with Hooker super comps. The ports and headers [oval port] do not line up and leak around the gasket. I tried to open up the holes but had to do on the car. tried loosing the bolts and pryed down on them but the bolt hits the header and can move no farther.

WHY CAN PEOPLE NOT PUT WHAT THEIR PROBLEM IS TITLE ? ie header vs header alignment to head. would make it easier to research so I did not have to ask the same stupid question some one else did.

Some pictures might help. Have you tried contacting Holley Tech support? Perhaps using a better gasket might help?

Sounds like the wrong headers or header gaskets for your heads. Yes pictures would help.
