      SBC to Blown BBC

Looking for a little more show AND go. Car was an original 6cyl, somebody put a SBC in it now I want to put in a BBC and have a few questions.

I have an MSD distributer and box, can that be used with/in the BBC?
It is a car show car and im not sure what headers would be good for performance/sound/looks
besides motor mounts is there anything else that I will need to replace/change?

Here is the engine I am looking at

SBC and BBC distributors are the same...so whatever you have will work.

What kind of car is this going in?

If it is a show car, then why are you worried about performance?

That motor screams Pro-Street not Pro-Touring.

Yes. I know. I also know this is a pro touring forum but i found it to be friendlier that some other ones. I want my car to be something in between a touring and a pro street car. If i am breaking the rules i can stop posting.

      SBC to Blown BBC

The motor mounts should be the same.
As for headers, Ultimate Headers makes a fully polished 321 stainless set for that I believe.. They're really nice and only $1395 for the fully polished version.
Otherwise look into something like Stainless Works and have them coated or polished.
