      Dash warning lights

      Hey guys,

What is everyone using on their custom dashes for warning lights?

Trying to find a good source, any lights that come with custom logos?

      Cheers, dave.

I found that Harley (and the after market) make just such a light... Not overly expensive and seem to be readily available. Just thought I would share ...

The '56 wagon I just bought had LED's in the custom dash. I just replaced both turn signal bulbs because one was burnt out. I got the replace LED's at Radio Shack for a couple bucks apiece. Delcity also has them for a bit cheaper but you pay for shipping...

      Dash warning lights

Try Vehicle Wiring Products out of the UK. When I did a custom switch plate for a nitrous install I used some stuff from them and another British company ....think it was Stafford. A quick bing search will pop both of them up. Shipping wasn't terrible.

The problem with LEDs are they are extremely bright. If they are the standard dome shape, you can file them flat and it will diffuse the light. I like the Harley lights because the have universal symbols.

yeah most are, but the ones i got are indicator leds so they aren't super bright and focused. if they are too bright I'll just add a resistor to tame them a bit.

The indicators I got at Radio Shack already have a resistor to tame them down. They are perfect in the briteness range.

I came across these a while back. Unfortunately, not local (US) but they seems pretty nice.

Just found these so I figured I would bring this thread back up to the top. I like the design. US company to boot.

Bringing this back up to see if anyone has found something in the US with logos. I need a brake and check engine light.
