Looks good. I'm interested too. Anyone have any experience with the quality of the product or the difficulty of installation?

WOW !!! Affordable ONE piece headliner

While we have no experience with that specific headliner, we used TMI for all the interior upholstery on our Raybestos 1971 Camaro giveaway car, and their quality is awesome. I highly recommend them for anything.

Yeah... please post lots of pic's.

TMI should have added more pic's on their website. It's hard to get a good idea of how it looks from that pic.

I am interested but I didn't want to be the guinea pig.

Yeah the pic on their website looked like it had seams where the bows usually are. I called and the lady I talked to told me the one piece is wrapped on fiberglass and the sail panel and A pillars are separate but included. I still have some fab work to finish up and need to see how the A pillars fit into dash so I can finish the fiberglass work on dash. Car will then be torn down for paint so it will be awhile before final install is finished.

Hmmmmm... so the sail panel and A pillars are separate pieces??

At least let us know what you think, once you receive it.
      Thanks.

I have one of these in my 66 Mustang that went in pretty easy after a couple hours. The fit is very good. The earlier Mustang ones had an issue with California compliant adhesive (they since found a compliant, better adhesive from what I've been told), so I have a replacement in a box ready to swap out so I can't attest to that yet, but that should be a non-issue on these new Camaro ones.

Like the others I'm interested in the ease of installation and the final fit and finish. But I'm also concerned about weight. Does anyone know what the headliner weighs? I'm also curious how flexible it is as I would need to install it over the roll bar.

Installation isn't terrible, set aside about a good 4 hours to get everything all done, at least for the Mustang. Camaro might be different. The UPS label says 19 lbs, and the box weighs more than the headliner, so definitely under 10 lbs for the headliner.

I got mine for my 68 Mustang FB and it is super light and fits nice. A tad bit of over hang (5/8") to the front windshield, nice sharp razor blade will fix that to trim it back a bit. The holes are predrilled in the fibreglass for your visors and visor mount. Use a nice sharp pick to poke through the fabric and it's secured.

Do these glue in or are they attached with some sort of fasteners? Do they come with installation instructions?

No glue. For the Mustang it is held up by the visors, dome light, and the forward and rear window weatherstrips, and side window pinch welds mouldings. It probably uses a similar factory fastener setup in the 1st gen Camaro. And yes, full instructions are included.

Any insights you can give of the product itself, or the installation process, would be greatly appreciated.

Have any of you guys put this in a car with a roll bar? Like others, I am curious how easy it would be to get installed around that thing.
