It looks good, is that the shape of the original opening for the gauges or did you change it?

I like that you 3d printed the trim rings and then had them cnc'd. I've got a 3d printer and am pretty good with design so I have to do this more. Is it very expensive to have the parts machined? What file type do they want?

      Also sweet build!

So I spent 2 hours cutting and welding up a $27 radiator hose. I tried a bunch of rubber hoses, couldn't find anything that fit good. Also printed up some reducers for my AC vents, I love this 3D printer so much I just ordered one for myself..Name: 20170930_172105.jpg

I have quite a few hose pieces in the garage from my quest for something to fit my car. Nice when you can make one up yourself. That reducer came out great. I could never learn to run one. Looks good Mike. Did you do the program for that?

Yes, I designed the part in Solidworks, then sent it to the 3D printer. If you need any custom parts, let me know.....

It looks like there's plenty of room for what you needed to do with the steering. That will make it easier to role around if you need to move it.

BTW, there is a recall on some Wilwood master cylinders.
Check the 3 digit code on the bottom.
Mine failed going down a mountain road. Scary as h#)(

Great job on the tunnel and dash! Those complex angles can get kind of tricky with sheet metal. We're uned in for more progress!

Today's adventure came by way of my new center console. I designed it up, then had a local sheet metal shop cut it out of 12 gauge steel. They used a laser to cut it out, what a beautiful job that machine did. The width of the cut is only .007" and the edges are perfect, no burs or slag of any kind. I have a little work left to do tomorrow to finish it off...

is the viper engine more narrow than the hemi. it seems like you have decent real estate in the engine compartment.
