      Motor and mid plate question

I've got a 1/4" motor plate welded to the frame and a tranny crossmember with a poly mount with no mid plate. Is the mid plate necessary for my street setup with some autocross thrown in?

Do you have anything supporting the block other than the motor plate, like say motor mounts, if there is nothing else you'll need limiters at the very least. I have a motor plate and no mid plate with a poly trans mount but I also used a set of motor mounts instead of engine limiters.

Sam, the only other thing I have is a steel shaft with adjustable rod ends on both ends. This runs perpendicular to the motor plate and is mounted to the frame to stop the plate from flexing. Thanks again for your input.
