North Texas Camaro Club Auto-x at Mesquite Memorial Stadium on May 31st, 2014

Pro-Touring.com members are invited to the North Texas Camaro Club (www.northtxcamaro.com) auto-cross event being held at Mesquite Memorial Stadium on May 31st, 2014 in Mesquite, TX. The event will begin at 8am and we will run until 4pm. We have an hour set aside for lunch from 12:00-1:00pm.

The rules will be similar to GoodGuy’s events. Minimum 200 treadwear rating on tires. Cars must be registered and insured, have a radiator overflow tank and the battery firmly secured. Safety/seat belts are required and must be worn. Helmets are required for driver and any passengers. Loaners will be provided if you do not have a helmet of your own.

Classes will be broken up into beginner, intermediate and experienced to simplify the event for all of us which is a great idea opposed to car classes. (You pick as we are not that formal.)

Beginner = Never done this before or only done it once
Intermediate = Been on an auto-x up a couple times, no more than 5 times in a sea of cones
Experienced = Been on an auto-x more than 5 times. Done an SCCA, NASA or Good-Guys event more than a few times, been to a driving school, etc.

The registration fee is $50/vehicle for the day. We want to have over 25 attendees for the event. So far we have 18 signed up. You DO NOT have to be a NTXCC member to attend and all cars are welcome to participate. If you want to participate, send an email to [email protected] and I will send you the registration link.
