Dynamat extreme + Dynaliner installation info needed

Which areas are best to put the dynamat extreme in and which for the combi with dynaliner?

In my 65 mustang fastback with rear shelf currently i have done the firewall en floor pans and trans tunnel with both, and my wheel wells with extreme.
Do I need to do the rear part and roof panel too?

I plan to do the inside of the doors with extreme too.

My goal is to reduce/block outside sounds and heat, I donnot have a radio, but cut-outs in the exhaust ;-)

If you got pics of your install, please share!

      Thanks!

don't feel bad I had a similar post and didn't get any response either. from what I have researched is there are three key items to contend with; vibration, sound and heat. there are parts of the car that have all three or maybe just one. depending on the area is how you would layer your materials. I would suggest looking at different products to see how they deal with each issue. I would explain further but I am by no means an expert or even a novice with this so I don't feel comfortable giving any advice as I am still figuring it out myself. next show I go to I plan to pick some of the shops/vendors brains for more insight.

I installed Dynamat on my complete floor, inside the doors and basically anywhere that I could reach that was covered by my upholstery. Made a huge difference in the vibrations inside the car. Also sounds like a new car when I shut the door. Hope that helps.

Typed up a long post about this in my phone and the app crashed... Twice. So now you get links.

Also. Get some acoustical panels from parts express and stuff them under your dash. It'll cut down on engine drone.

you're welcome. i'm going to do total coverage instead of 20% because I have a some pretty high end gear that may benefit from going a bit overboard. but i think there is a point of diminishing returns doing it that way. post some results when you finish it up
