Aaron Kaufman's Fast N Loud Ford Falcon on Forgeline GW3 Wheels

Did you get to watch the latest episode of Fast N' Loud last night? They featured Aaron's '63 Ford Falcon on Forgeline GW3 wheels with Gold centers and Polished outers. If you missed it, you can catch it again every night this week on the Discovery Channel. Or see more in the Forgeline gallery at: http://www.forgeline.com/customer_ga...w.php?cvk=1045

And its not just built for the TV show. Aaron actually drives it. He brought the Falcon out to the Ultimate Street Car Association event, at Texas Motor Speedway, this past weekend. He has plans to race it up Pikes Peak.

As far as Falcons go, this is a cool looking car and it runs well! I watched as Aaron hammered on it around the in-field course at the USCA event at TMS.

Man this is one sweet looking Falcon. Awesome stance and look. Would love to see this thing in person just to understand how it was built. I am looking for a 63 1/2 to essentially do something fairly similar to this one. Darn why did I have to see this... The wife tells me I have to wait at least five more years till I can build one like this (something about kids in college!). Now I'm either going to have dreams or nightmares depending on how that goes! Awesome vehicle Aaron.

Gold wheels look good on just about anything. The would look great on a blue car.

However long you think your project will take, double it and you might be halfway right.

So Aaron will be racing up Pikes Peak this weekend. Here is the new graphics scheme (body wrap by a TX company called 360Wrap). See more at: http://www.forgeline.com/customer_ga...w.php?cvk=1123

      Good luck, Aaron!

      graphics

Not a fan of the graphics or "black" hood. Car looks great and the best part is no black wheels! Personally I have seen enough black wheels to last me a long long time.

Aaron Kaufman finished second in class this weekend with a time of 12:53.892. This was a bit short of the record set by Jess Neal's '71 Cuda in 2012 at 12:17.858.

Vintage class was distinctly short of entries this year with only 4 running in class. However, overall entries were limited and selected by the Hillclimb committee. They appeared to be limiting certain classes to pump up the number of entries in electric and time attack, both of which are heavily populated by the OEMs.

FYI, the next 2 episodes of Fast N Loud (Sept 15 and Sept 22) are the 2014 Pikes Peak episodes. Rumor has it that these next 2 episodes are the best of the entire series so far. Tonight's episode (Sept 15 at 9/8c on the Discovery Channel) covers Aaron's preparation for Pikes Peak and introduces the C10 pace truck project. Should be good!

I was loosing interest in Fast and Loud until last two episodes. In these they did first rate work and your wheels stole the show

I did catch those two episode back to back recently. Not bad, but if they were the two best episodes of the show, I'm glad I haven't spent any time watching any others.

Of course, being local to The Peak, and having some background on the race's evolution and format, I always find it amusing to watch and listen to newbies/outsiders views/perceptions/opinions of the race.

I've noticed many of the shows lately to be lackluster, as they're focusing more on scripted drama such as time/money issues, and there's no real talent there anymore it seems, just a bunch of guys bolting parts on. But these last 2 episodes were some of my favorites in the last couple years at least. Aaron and his prep/emotions seemed to be the most real in the series. I can imagine how you feel... the realization of the feat you've just accomplished as a recent driver, and not driving 2' off the edge to almost certain death, haha.
