cage done.... more pics for you guys

Here are some pics of the rear half of the chassis as well as the front. Finally had some time to finish up the tubes this weekend. Kept it simple yet effective....but I like how it turned out. What do you think?

Looks fantastic! Can't wait to see this run! That's too bad about your motor.

Thanks. Glad you like it. Yeah the motor issue sucked but we got it handled and have a another motor being machined as we speak.

I'll have to look. We had them from another project. Can't remember where they were sourced from. Let me get back to you on that.

I would love to just bolt a seat and a motor to it and rock and roll. But i'm pretty sure the track officials and the local police wouldn't be real fond of it. LOL

Thanks Brent. That's kind of the direction we were going. Get too fancy with it and it would look out of place. The straight cut lines blend with the truck better. I think so anyway. ;)

      engine is in......we move forward.

Finally got the engine back and assembled. Slid it into the chassis last night. I had hoped to have the trans and clutch in too but maybe later today. We are getting there.....one bolt at a time.

We got quite a bit done on the C10R over the weekend. Starting assembly finally. If all goes well and we get the parts we are waiting for, we'll be able to fire this beast up. Motor and Trans are done, Centerforce DYAD clutch is in. Waiting on our driveshaft. Should hopefully have a running truck in the next couple of weeks.

Love the 1 piece windows and APR mirrors! Was thinking of doing the same on my 50 Ford.
