Very nice build. You just reminded me why I'm not looking forward to the painting on mine.

So here are the pictures of the hood that the painter sent me. Due to weather today, I was not able to make the trip over there.

Out if the booth and ready for me to go lay out the Charcoal stripe.

We removed all the hardware from the Rushforth wheels today and will be sending the wheels out to the body shop to have the centers painted to match the stripe on the car. 40 in each wheel. These are pressed in.

We decided to bust out the tap and thread all the holes for Stainless button head bolts so it will match all the hardware throughout the rest of the car. That is only 160 holes to do !!! the 1/4" were too small so its gonna be 5/16

Well, hood has been wet sanded and I was able to lay the graphic out today. Hopefully, weather permitting they can get it sprayed soon.

Great looking build. I am building a 67 fastback and would like to do a center exhaust. Where are you placing the license plate?

We are still trying to decide on the license plate placement.

Finally have an update on the project :
Hood and Wiper cowl got color and clear

Everything was sanded down and is ready for another coat of clear.

Car was wrapped up and all the areas that need the Charcoal grey were taped off

Engine bay is being prepped for paint

Pretty excited about the blue and Grey color combo

Once its sanded and buffed, it should be real smooth and glow
